Grandpa, Boston, Tom and Wesley Hike Down the Creek on Saturday

Our first priority was to get walking sticks from the brush and trees along the creek.  Notice Boston's coon skin  hat just like Davey Crockett's

There was much to discover during out walk

Cheryl and Company Decorated the Christmas Tree on the Friday After Thanksgiving

This is Cheryl's "German Feather Tree".   The boughs are made from goose feathers.  It looks like an old fashioned Christmas tree from Germany.

Mr. Squirrel Downs Likes Sunflower Seeds

Here is Mr. Squirrel running down the tree after filling his cheeks with seeds.  He takes them to a tree next door to store for winter.  You can see that we have spiked the sunflower heads to the tree.  We have more to put on the tree when the seeds from these two have been tucked away.

Here is Mr. Squirrel climbing up the tree to his seeds.

Look  closely and you can see Mr. Squirrel picking seeds from the sunflower and packing them in his cheeks.

Gray is leveling the ground before we start laying the block.

The pallet of block that were used in the retaining wall.

A couple of chumps we talked into helping build the wall.  Max and Carter were very precise and helpful.
